The Build Out

Hi everyone! Welcome to our blog where we will be posting updates about our adventure across the US. Jack and I decided to take some time to see and do some new things, so we put our stuff in storage and built out his Tacoma. We got a Go Fast camper which encloses the truck bed and has a pop up tent on top. Go Fast custome builds each camper so we got to design it exactly how we wanted. Installation was quick and easy and all of the people working there were friendly and helpful. Jack’s dad and their neighbor, Matt, went above and beyond with building out the truck bed and back seat. They did a backseat delete and installed a fridge and power bank, and it also holds our closest. We’ve got a solar panel hooked up to the power bank to help provide charge throughout our travels. In the truck bed they installed a heater and a kitchen area with a two burner propane stove. They also built in an L shaped bench that stores our water and all our other supplies. The benches not only hold our supplies, they also provide us with a comfortable indoor living area. Lastly we added a hitch onto the back of the car which carries extra gas and diesel, as well as our track boards. Thank you John and Matt for turning the truck into a home! With our little home on wheels all set to go, we will be headed south to try and stay in warm weather! We will be making our way to the East Coast over the next couple of months.
